I've been in the construction business for over 18 years. I learned the trade from my father, who learned it from his. I'm proud to have roots in D.D. Stensland Construction. We come by this business honestly and passionately, with a strong Midwestern work ethic and set of values.

Family Business

My father always taught me to do it right the first time - quality construction isn't about speed, but about paying attention to detail. I listen to you, the homeowner, so I know just exactly what it is you'd like done. All projects, big and small are given the same priority and your needs always come first. I want to make sure you are comfortable with the entire construction process.

A Move to Hawaii

In 2000 I inherited my fathers company and changed the name to L.D. Construction and continued to provide top notch construction in Minnesota. In 2006 I sold the family business for a fresh start in a warmer climate and began H-1 Construction. I've since joined the Carpenters Union and earned my contractors license in Hawaii. My family and I have embraced life here and want to continue the long-standing Stensland tradition of making every job count.
